NEW AIRPORT COMPLEX AT EGP80 BILLION COST

ROMA, 27 AGO – New airport complex at EGP80 billion cost
Egypt will build an airport complex around Cairo’s International Airport at a total cost of EGP80 billion. Project includes five phases to be completed by 2020, with expected revenues of EGP422 billion by 2040, while the project is expected to create 30,000 direct jobs and 90,000 indirect jobs. Airport complex will include touristic, trade, entertainment, medical and educational areas built on environmentally friendly infrastructure on an area of 10 million square meters.
